Adams Extract & Spice produces an array of treats for the tongue. Established in 1888, the company makes food flavorings, powdered and liquid extracts, pure spices and spice blends, and food colorings for the retail food market worldwide. Its most well-known product is vanilla extract (Adams Best). Adams supplies food retailers, including Albertson's, H-E-B, and Wal-Mart stores in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The firm also offers bulk products to foodservice operators under the brand names CTI, Flavor a la Carte, Neustra Casa, and Rex. The founding Adams family sold the company in 2002 to CEO Danny Janecka, whose family operates the J & B Sausage Company of Waelder, Texas.
