MMI Holdings is a die-hard company. MMI Holdings manufactures precision machining (die-casting) and assembly components (hard-disk drives), which are sold to the semi-conductor, data storage, and life sciences industries. The company has two main business groups: the contract manufacturing group makes precision castings such as magnesium castings, which are used in portable electronics; the systems group designs and produces mechanical components primarily for the semiconductor industry. Managing director and founder Teh Bong Lim owns about 15% of the company.
