If Deutsche Börse's trading volume doesn't dominate European trading, maybe its trading technology will. Deutsche Börse provides a securities exchange platform through the Frankfurt Exchange, derivatives trading on the Eurex market (one of the world's largest), market information with the DAX index and the STOXX index (33%-owned), and clearing services with subsidiary Clearstream. It co-owns the Eurex futures market with the Swiss Exchange and developed electronic trading platform Xetra, which it licenses to other exchanges, including the Vienna Exchange. The company's joint venture with Swiss Financial Market Services, Scoach, offers trading in certificates and warrants.
