Green Tree Servicing is one of the largest servicers of manufactured home loans in the US; it also services home equity, home improvement, and consumer installment loans. All told, the company's portfolio totals more than $20 billion. Green Tree services loans for its own account and performs outsourced collection services as well. It also sells homeowners insurance. A consortium that includes private equity firm Centerbridge Partners and Green Tree's management acquired the company in 2007.
