Its three units include Bankers Life, which markets and distributes Medicare supplement, life, and long-term care insurance and annuities; Conseco Insurance Group, which offers specified disease insurance, as well as Medicare supplement and certain life insurance and annuities; and Colonial Penn, which offers life insurance to consumers through direct selling. Conseco has 4 million customers nationwide, which it serves from three main offices in the Midwest.
