Just imagine getting lost in that warehouse. Applied Industrial Technologies distributes millions of industrial parts made by thousands of manufacturers. The short list includes bearings, power transmission components, hydraulic and pneumatic components, fabricated rubber products, and linear motion systems. It sells primarily through some 460 service centers peppering the US, Canada, and Mexico. Customers are concentrated in maintenance repair operations (MRO) and OEM markets. Applied also operates regional mechanical, rubber, and fluid power shops that offer a slate of services, from engineering design to conveyor belt repair, to such industrial giants as Vulcan Materials and Goodyear Engineered Products.
