The company's diverse offerings include integrated circuits, radio frequency (RF) components, and microwave assemblies used in military aircraft, satellites, and wireless communications networks. It also provides test equipment used in avionics, military, and mobile radio applications. The company's largest customer base is the US government and its contractors; it sells to such blue-chip clients as Boeing, Cisco, and Lockheed Martin. Aeroflex has facilities in China, France, Sweden, the UK, and the US. In 2007 the company was acquired by Veritas Capital, Golden Gate Private Equity, and Goldman Sachs for about $1.1 billion in cash.
