On March 12, 2013, Aaron Davidson resigned from the Board of Directors of Tranzyme, Inc. (the "Company") and all committees thereof. Mr. Davidson's resignation was not the result of any disagreements with the Company on any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices.
