(b) On March 6, 2013, Gerardo Canet informed Dendreon Corporation, a Delaware corporation (the "Company") that he will not stand for reelection at the Annual Stockholders' Meeting that will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013. Mr. Canet's resignation was not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices.
