On February 27, 2013, Mr. Brian Smith was appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer of Hospira, Inc. (the "Company"), effective immediately. Mr. Smith previously served as the Company's Senior Vice President and General Counsel.

On February 27, 2013, Mr. Royce Bedward was appointed Corporate Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, effective immediately. Mr. Bedward previously served as the Company's Deputy General Counsel and Secretary.

On February 25, 2013, Dr. Sumant Ramachandra provided notice to the Company that he will resign from the Company and his position as Senior Vice President, R&D, Medical and Regulatory Affairs and Chief Scientific Officer, effective March 8, 2013.
