On February 23, 2013, Stephen P. Theobald, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hampton Roads Bankshares, Inc. (the "Company") informed the Company of his intention to resign from his position with the Company, effective March 31, 2013, in order to accept a CFO position with another financial services firm.
