Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 19, 2013, Gregg A. Lowe, President, Chief Executive Officer and a
member of the Board of Directors of Freescale Semiconductor, Ltd. (the
"Company"), entered into a written trading plan in compliance with Rule 10b5-1
of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934. Rule 10b5-1 permits officers and
directors of public companies to enter into predetermined plans for trading
specified shares. Mr. Lowe's trading plan provides for the sale of up to 133,563
common shares of the Company. The plan expires on the earlier of July 3, 2014,
or upon the sale of all of the shares covered under the plan.
