On February 21, 2013, Mohawk Industries, Inc., issued a press release announcing
its fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2012 financial results. A copy of

Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On February 15, 2013, Mr. David L. Kolb and Ms. Phyllis O. Bonanno notified the
Board of Directors of the Company of their decision to retire and not stand for
re-election as a director of the Company at the 2013 Annual Meeting of
Stockholders to be held in May 2013. Each of Mr. Kolb and Ms. Bonanno will
continue to serve on the Board of Directors of the Company for the remainder of
the current term.
