Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors;
Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
In its regularly-scheduled meeting held on February 13, 2013, the Board of
Directors (the "Board") of SkyWest, Inc. (the "Company") accepted the
resignation of Ian M. Cumming from his position as a director of the Company and
its subsidiaries. Having reached 72 years of age, Mr. Cumming submitted his
resignation to the Board as contemplated by the Company's Corporate Governance
Guidelines. In submitting his resignation, Mr. Cumming did not indicate that he
has any disagreement with the Company's management or with its independent
accountants.
