Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (the "Company") issued a press release on February 6, 2013 announcing that J. Patrick Gallagher Jr., the Company's Chairman, President and CEO, will speak at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Insurance Conference in New York on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11:45 a.m. ET.

The presentation slides for this conference are attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
