(b) On February 8, 2013, Dr. Thorleif Enger notified the Board of Directors of
FMC Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") that he will not stand for re-election at
the Company's 2013 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Dr. Enger's decision not to
stand for re-election was not the result of any disagreement with the Company.
He will continue to serve on the Company's Board of Directors until its 2013
Annual Meeting of Stockholders, which is the end of his current term.
