On January 30, 2013, the Board of Directors of Gas Natural Inc. (the "Company") appointed independent director W.E. "Gene" Argo as Vice Chairman of the Board. Mr. Argo, age 70, has been a member of the board since 2002 and is currently the chairman of the compensation committee and the governance and nominating committee. As Vice Chairman, Mr. Argo will fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the Chairman when the Chairman is unable to do so.
