On February 7, 2013, Allied Nevada Gold Corp. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that the Company's 2013 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the "Annual Meeting") will be held on May 2, 2013. Stockholders of record at close of business on March 8, 2013 will be entitled to notice of and to vote at the Annual Meeting.
