Item 8.01 Other Events.

On February 5, 2013, New Energy Systems Group, a Nevada corporation (the "Company"), announced that Shenzhen Anytone Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Company, received a purchase order from Deimos Mobility Inc. ("Deimos") to manufacture Deimos' branded products, AVLA Mobile. A copy of the press release is being filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
