APPOINTMENT OF CERTAIN OFFICERS; COMPENSATORY ARRANGEMENTS OF CERTAIN OFFICERS.
On January 30, 2013, Terri Maupin, Chief Accounting Officer of Blue Nile, Inc.
(the "Company"), announced her intention to resign from the Company. The
effective date of her resignation is expected to occur on or about July 1,
2013. Ms. Maupin's resignation will allow her to seek heightened
responsibilities at other public or private companies. Until the effective date
of her resignation, Ms. Maupin will remain actively involved in the management
of the Company.
