Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On January 29, 2013, PVR Partners, L.P. (the "Partnership") announced the appointment of Mark D. Casaday, 52, as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer - Midstream of PVR GP, LLC (the "Company"), the Partnership's general partner. In his new position, Mr. Casaday will be responsible for the management of the Company's Midcontinent midstream and Eastern midstream business. Mr. Casaday had previously served as the Company's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer - Midstream, Marcellus since June 2012. Prior to that, Mr. Casaday served as Senior Vice President, Eastern Region since January 2012 and Vice President, Eastern Region since March 2010. Mr. Casaday had previously served as a consultant to the Partnership since July 2008.
