(b) Named Executive Officer Resignation
On January 28, 2013, Thomas L. Cole, Chief Administrative Officer for
Macy's, Inc. ("Macy's") and one of Macy's named executive officers in
its March 28, 2012 proxy statement, resigned from his position as
Chief Administrative Officer and as an executive officer and Section
16(b) officer of Macy's. Mr. Cole will continue as an employee of
Macy's performing other assigned duties until the effective date of
his retirement later in 2013.
