Walter Investment Management Corp. (the "Registrant" or the "Company") has received authorization from NYSE Regulation, Inc. to transfer the listing of its common stock, par value $0.01 per share ("Common Stock") from the NYSE MKT exchange (the "NYSE MKT" and formerly known as the NYSE Amex) to the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE"). The Common Stock began trading on the NYSE on January 23, 2013, under its current ticker symbol "WAC." A copy of the press release announcing the actions described in this Item 3.01 is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
