On January 8, 2013, Uranium Energy Corp. (the "Company") issued a news release announcing that it has received an independent CSA National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects inferred resource estimate for its Slick Rock Project located in San Miguel County, Colorado.

A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
