Item 8.01. Other Events.

On January 8, 2013, Fifth Street Finance Corp. ("Fifth Street") issued a press release announcing the expansion of its syndicated secured credit facility with certain lenders party thereto from time to time and ING Capital LLC, as administrative agent, to add two new lenders and increase the borrowing capacity from $380 million to $415 million. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
