Item 8.01 Other Events.

On December 28, 2012, Range Resources Corporation (the "Company") completed its previously announced redemption of all of its outstanding $250.0 million 7.5% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2017 at a price of 103.75% of the unpaid principal amount plus accrued interest through December 27, 2012. The Company funded the redemption through borrowings under its revolving credit facility.
