Officers.
On December 10, 2012, Jock Patton, a member of the Board of Directors of Janus
Capital Group Inc. ("Janus"), notified Janus that he will not stand for
re-election to the Janus Board of Directors when his term expires at Janus' 2013
annual meeting of shareholders. Mr. Patton will continue as a member of the
Board of Directors until the 2013 annual meeting.
