On December 11, 2012, Pharmacyclics, Inc. (the "Company") and its collaborators provided clinical and preclinical presentations on ibrutinib and ibrutinib combinations at the 2012 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Hematology ("ASH"). Ibrutinib inhibits Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK), which is known to be expressed in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), follicular lymphoma (FL) and multiple myeloma (MM).
