Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On December 7, 2012, Uranium Energy Corp. (the "Company") issued a news release announcing that the Production Area Authorization to commence in-situ recovery operations at Production Area-3 at the Company's Palangana ISR Mine in South Texas has been granted by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. In-situ recovery of uranium at Production Areas 1 and 2 is ongoing, and this authorization extends the area of operations significantly to the southeast portion of the property to include Production Area-3.
