Officers.
On December 4, 2012, Stephen G. Austin resigned from the Board of Directors of
Avanir Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the "Company" or "Avanir") for personal reasons.
Prior to his resignation, Mr. Austin served as Chairman of the Audit Committee
and as a member of the Compensation Committee. Mr. Austin's resignation was not
caused by a disagreement with the Company.
