Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On December 5, 2012, Airgas, Inc. (the "Company") will hold its 2012 analyst meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the meeting, the Company is announcing certain financial targets for fiscal year 2016. A press release containing the financial targets is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.

Non-GAAP Measure:

The press release attached as Exhibit 99.1 contains a financial measure that is not defined under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP"). The Company presented its return on capital financial measure to help investors assess how effectively the Company uses the capital invested in its operations.

The Company's intent is to provide non-GAAP financial information to enhance investors' understanding of the Company's consolidated financial statements and should be considered by the reader in conjunction with the financial statements prepared in accordance with GAAP, as non-GAAP financial information is merely a supplement to, and not a replacement for, GAAP financial information. In addition, it should be noted that the Company's non-GAAP financial information may be different from the non-GAAP financial information provided by other companies.
