On December 3, 2012, Pioneer Natural Resources Company will post certain updated
public disclosures, including its open commodity derivative positions as of
November 29, 2012. Pioneer Southwest Energy Partners L.P. (the "Partnership")
confirms that, as of November 29, 2012, there had been no change to the
Partnership's commodity derivative positions since October 30, 2012, the most
recent date as of which the Partnership disclosed its open commodity derivative
positions.
