On November 29, 2012, we issued a press release announcing a favorable ruling by the Federal Communications Commission on a Petition for Declaratory Ruling that we filed in February 2012. In its ruling, the Federal Communications Commission clarifies that the provisions of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act are not violated when a company sends a single text confirmation to a consumer to confirm receipt of the consumer's request to opt out of receiving future text messages.
