On November 29, 2012, Pier 1 Imports, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing the Company's third quarter sales results and expected earnings per share for the period ended November 24, 2012. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is being furnished, not filed, under item 2.02 of this Report on Form 8-K.
