Officers.
John E. Banu, Vice President, Controller, notified MeadWestvaco Corporation (the
"Company") he plans to retire on December 31, 2012 after nearly 37 years of
service with the Company.
Brent A. Harwood, age 48, has been appointed Controller, effective January 1,
2013. Mr. Harwood joined the Company in 2006 and serves as Assistant Controller.
Prior to joining the Company, he was with Deloitte for twelve years followed by
Cadmus Communications Corporation as Controller for 5 years.
