Item 8.01. Other Events

On November 16, 2012, Central European Distribution Corporation ("CEDC") filed an open letter to shareholders from the special committee of the board of directors of CEDC in response to the letter from Mr. Roustam Tariko to investors in CEDC filed by Mr. Tariko as an exhibit to Amendment No. 9 to the Schedule 13D filed by Roust Trading Ltd. with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 13, 2012.

A copy of the open letter to shareholders, dated November 16, 2012, is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1
