On November 5, 2012, Colony Financial, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing its financial position as of September 30, 2012, and financial results for the third quarter of 2012. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report and is incorporated herein by reference.
