On November 2, 2012, Park Sterling Corporation ("Park Sterling") announced its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2012. A copy of the related press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1. The information included herein, as well as Exhibit 99.1 referenced herein, shall not be deemed "filed" for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the "Exchange Act"), nor shall it be deemed incorporated by reference in filings under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act").
On November 2, 2012, Park Sterling will hold an investor conference call to disclose its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2012. A copy of the slide package prepared for use by executive management for this presentation is furnished as Exhibit 99.2. All of the information in the presentation is presented as of November 2, 2012, and Park Sterling does not assume any obligation to update such information in the future.

On November 2, 2012, Park Sterling issued a press release announcing that its board of directors approved a new share repurchase program where the company may purchase up to 2.2 million common shares, or approximately 5% of the company's 43,997,111 outstanding dilutive common shares. The share repurchase authorization, which is effective immediately and extends through December 31, 2014, permits the company to effect the repurchases from time to time through a combination of open market repurchases, privately negotiated transactions, accelerated share repurchase transactions, and other derivative transactions. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.3 and is incorporated herein by reference.
