On October 29, 2012, State Bank Financial Corporation announced J. Thomas Wiley Jr., one of its founding shareholders and a member of its board of directors, will become Vice Chairman and President for both State Bank Financial Corporation and its wholly-owned subsidiary State Bank and Trust Company. Mr. Wiley will remain on the boards of both companies along with assuming his new management duties. Mr. Wiley will begin his new role on January 1, 2013.
