Effective October 22, 2012, Eric A. Nielsen resigned as Executive Vice President
- Corporate Development of Joy Global Inc. (the "Company") and departed the Company to pursue other career opportunities. In connection with Mr. Nielsen's resignation, the Company is reorganizing its corporate development function and the Company's Chief Financial Officer will assume oversight of future development activities. "We are appreciative of Eric's contributions during his time with Joy Global, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors," said Mike Sutherlin, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer.
