ITEM 8.01 Other Events

As more fully described in the attached press release as of October 22, 2012, the Board of Directors of ACNB Corporation declared the regular quarterly cash dividend for the Fourth Quarter of 2012 on October 16, 2012. The cash dividend of $0.19 per share is payable on December 14, 2012, to shareholders of record on November 30, 2012. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference. The information furnished under this Item 8.01 of this Current Report on Form 8-K shall not be deemed to be filed for purposes of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
