ITEM 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition

On October 17, 2012, First Community Corporation, holding company for First Community Bank, issued a press release announcing its financial results for the period ended September 30, 2012.

A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

ITEM 8.01. Other Events.

The company announced that the Board of Directors has approved a cash dividend for the third quarter of 2012. The company will pay a $.04 per share dividend to holders of the company's common stock. This dividend is payable on November 14, 2012, to shareholders of record as of October 31, 2012.

Attached as Exhibit 99.1 is a copy of the press release relating to the announcement of the share dividend, which is incorporated herein by reference.
