(d) On October 16, 2012, the Board of Directors of DynaVox Inc. appointed Evan A.
Marks to the Board of Directors of DynaVox Inc. Mr. Marks is a Managing Director at Vestar Capital Partners.

As an employee of Vestar Capital Partners, Mr. Marks will not receive additional compensation for his services as a member of the Board of Directors of DynaVox Inc.

Mr. Marks is a party to the Exchange Agreement, the Tax Receivable Agreement, the Registration Rights Agreement and the DynaVox Systems Holdings LLC Limited Liability Company Agreement, all of which are described in the DynaVox Inc. 2012 Proxy Statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 21, 2011.
