On September 28, 2012, Farmers National Banc Corp. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has approved a new share repurchase program under which the Company is authorized to repurchase up to 920,000 shares of its common stock in the open market or in privately negotiated transactions, subject to market and other conditions (the "Program"). The Program may be modified, suspended or terminated by the Company at any time. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
