(b) On September 4, 2012, Tessera Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") announced an executive transition at DigitalOptics Corporation ("DOC"), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. In connection with the executive transition, the employment of Farzan Bob Roohparvar, the former president of DOC, terminated on September 4, 2012.
