On August 31, 2012, Eastern Insurance Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") announced that its board of directors authorized the payment of a $0.07 per share quarterly cash dividend on its issued and outstanding common stock, payable September 28, 2012, to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 14, 2012.
