On August 22, 2012, Kips Bay Medical, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that the Company has commenced its feasibility trial (eMESH
I) in Bern, Switzerland and that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has requested additional information on the pre-clinical design testing of the Company's eSVS Mesh. The full text of the press release is set forth in Exhibit 99.1 attached hereto and is incorporated by reference in this Current Report on Form 8-K as if fully set forth herein.
