On August 20, 2012, Forbes Energy Services, Ltd., or the Company, announced that, effective August 15, 2012, Ted A. Izatt was appointed to its Board of Directors. In connection with Mr. Izatt's appointment, the size of the Board was increased from six to seven members. As a director of the Company, Mr. Izatt will participate under the Company's director compensation policy described in the Company's 2012 Proxy Statement.
