On August 14, 2012, Tom Kilgore, TVA's President and Chief Executive Officer ("CEO"), notified TVA's Board Chairman of his decision to retire from TVA in four to six months. Mr. Kilgore plans to continue to serve as CEO until his successor is hired, which is expected by the end of this calendar year.
