Item 8.01 Other Events.

On August 9, 2012, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.34 per share on the Company's common stock. The dividend is payable in U.S. dollars on October 5, 2012, to stockholders of record on September 17, 2012.

A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
